The Garis Group has been established for 20 years and is located in Beaumont Street Hamilton, the cosmopolitan heart of Newcastle. We also have an office at Varsity Lakes in Queensland to serve the needs of our clients in SE Queensland.

Both Jim and Jeanette are members of BNI Civic. Jim is the longest serving member of this business networking organisation.

Jim began his rugby career as a Merewether Carlton junior and played for over 10 years (1967-1978).

Jim played representative rugby for both Newcastle and NSW Country during 1972-74 inclusive.

Jim is a lifetime member of the mighty Greens.

The Garis Group has sponsored the Merewether Carlton junior program for the last 2 years, as a commitment to support young people in their sporting development.

Beyond Blue

Jim is initiating, in conjunction with a number of Newcastle business people, a fund raising program to support the Beyond Blue National Depression Initiative.
